PMT/Permark introduces a new videotape series designed to educate the professional about permanent cosmetic procedures and to give patients a more thorough understanding about these procedures. The series contains a patient education video plus three instructional videos -- one each for permanent eyebrows, permanent eyeliner and permanent lip color.

Each instructional video is designed to help the practitioner improve their approach to a specific permanent makeup procedure and offers step-by-step guidelines from patient consultation to post-operative care. Discussed are topics such as appropriate tray set-up, anesthesia, pre-operative instructions, risks and complications and pigment and needle selection. Kathy Jones, Director of the PMT/Permark Training School, demonstrates her successful techniques for each procedure. Each of the one-hour long instructional videos can be purchased individually or as part of a three video set.

The patient education video, sold separately, educates potential patients about permanent cosmetics procedures and helps them make a more informed decision before undergoing a procedure. Placed in a reception area or video library, this dynamic video can help the professional acquire new patients or encourage existing patients to have a micropigmentation procedure. In a brief, eleven minute presentation, the video answers the most commonly asked questions about micropigmentation and presents real patient testimonials.

A nipple-areola tattoo video, previously produced with ASPS, is also available from PMT/Permark. Dr. Jay Orringer, a board certified plastic surgeon, demonstrates nipple areola procedures while explaining his techniques. This popular video is 40 minutes long and includes before and after photos.
