About Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is a special process used to improve the appearance of the skin by planing or sanding. It's usually performed physician’s office, ambulatory surgery center, or hospital operating room with a rapidly rotating wire brush, diamond fraise or serrated wheel. Indications for dermabrasion include but are not limited to
- acne, traumatic and surgical scars;
- superficial wrinkles;
- various skin disorders; and
- traumatic and decorative tattoos.
