History
The history of PMT/Permark is one rich with innovation and caring. Since our founding by two physicians in 1985, PMT/Permark has invented and brought to market a broad spectrum of equipment and pigments for physicians and cosmetic specialists to use to help their clients improve and enhance their appearance due to illness, injury or personal desire. Our first products focused on the need for “permanent eyeliner” by patients who couldn't apply their own. Over the last few decades, the company has expanded and developed a complete line of products for the face and body.
In 2000, PMT/Permark filled a void in the micropigmentation community by establishing the PMT/Permark Training School. The Training School has received accreditation by the New Jersey State Nurses Association. In 2003, we expanded the School to two locations, one in the Midwest and one on the East Coast.
Building on our success, PMT/Permark remains a leader in the field of micropigmentation. At PMT/Permark we listen to our customers, fund research and education, support appropriate non-profit organizations and publish manuscripts on the latest research in this specialty. As a result, we understand and support the needs of our client community by developing and manufacturing the products and pigments they want, under the most recent standards for safety and sterility. In fact, PMT/Permark micropigmentation equipment is one of the select few in our industry to consistently earn the UL listing for safety in the US and Canada.
